Upon installing SF9 after a pc upgrade, I've had no success getting SF9 to import my myriad of VST plugs. I've set the paths - a 2nd, then even a 3rd. There are no vst3 plugs in the paths. I ran as admin. It scans em, shows all it's scanning, then gives me nothing to select to use afterward. This worked perfectly up til this latest pc upgrade. Anyone ever deal with this issue? Thanks

No version of Sound Forge supports VST3. I did not install 9 on my Win10 box because I bought SF10 some time ago which works OK. I am surprised SF9 is a problem. You are scanning 32bit VST2 plug-ins.

There are no vst3 plugs in the paths. It makes me wonder if there are any stray 64 bits in the 32 bit folder. But would that make it toss out all other valid entries?

I doubt a sprinkling of 64bit plug-ins in the path is the problem. Pretty sure it is going to require running as admin and may require other compatibility settings. I assume you installed the latest update from the support site and not from disk.
