As MGH noted I am in Essex too just and I mean just north of old father Thames, on a clear day I can see the river from one of our rear windows, about 12 miles west of Southend-on-Sea.

I want to hijack this thread and find out how some of you came about using Sonar which is PC only.  My impression is that in Europe there are more Mac users than PC and more cross platform DAWs are used.

Windows is far bigger than Mac everywhere in the world, in terms of numbers.

To give a more personal answer, my career was, for many years, in the video game development industry, which is a heavily PC-based environment. You hardly ever see a Mac in a game dev studio. If you do, it probably belongs to the marketing team.

Not that there's anything bad about Macs, it's just that's how it is. So basically I'm a PC guy by default and habit.

Ive always been PC since moving from Tape Recorders/ADAT. I used to use Logic Audio until Apple bought it and forced me to move to another DAW for PC. After a tonne of reading and research I ended up with Sonar 6. Ive been an exclusive Sonar user ever since.
