Ive always been PC since moving from Tape Recorders/ADAT. I used to use Logic Audio until Apple bought it and forced me to move to another DAW for PC. After a tonne of reading and research I ended up with Sonar 6. Ive been an exclusive Sonar user ever since.

Me too. Though I started with Professorial 8 and upgraded to Pro Audio 9. Been with Sonar from day one. At the same time I was strongly with Emagic. When Apple bought it and slammed the door on PC users I went back to Sonar.

I'm not on the island, but I've been there - A Long Time Ago.  P8 to PA9 and up was my path also, although my relationship with Cakewalk is non-exclusive.  Reaper is kicking it these days, I'm sorry to say.

Leafy West Sussex for me, but work in Canary Wharf.

Prefer coffee, but did go for afternoon Tea at Woburn Abbey yesterday with the Mother-in-Law.

Why Sonar?  Ex pro-engineer from the 90's (the happy days of Studer A800 multitrack and SSL 4000 desks), then developing software apps for engineers. Following an extended sabbatical from all things music got back with Music Creator and then Sonar 6 bundled with the SPS-25 audio card.

The mix of great folk on this forum still makes it one of the most enjoyable destinations on my browser.

When did this thread get "imported" here?

Don't know what you're all on about, but I once beat one of your MBE's (Sir Eric Bristow) in a dart tournament back in the '80's when he was #1 in the World!  So there.
