Guys, am I alone on this: I've been trying to download X2 files for about 2 days and only was able to get Part1! (in hope it will not show corrupted!) If I try to do more than one at a time, it end up stucking and as Cakewalk allow 300 minutes (!!!), I wake up the next day with 2 downloads stucked half way or so. And no way to resume, but have to start over and even more: my connexion is no longer valid and I have to log in again. First, how come they can't come up with something a little more friendly (such as 'one' big file, with some download manager that allows to resume if something stuck? Such as Adobe does, or Avid? If they don't go that way, at least please give me more than 300 minutes, or do not void my connexion after 300 minutes.

300 minutes = 5 hours

I'm on a dire broadband package that sometimes dips as low as 100kbps. And yet I was still able to download all of the big files overnight and certainly within the 5 hour limit.

Your broadband must be even worse than mine lanstrad?

The ISP is not in question here: i downloaded a full 8gb Adobe suite last week and it was done first shot (overnight) with nothing corrupted. We're in 2012 man, it's unacceptable that a second version be shipped like this

I know that the downloads were spread across a number of servers. Could that have something to do with it?

Use CHROME!

Or if you must use Internet Explorer, get the Free Download Manager. I downloaded the whole thing in about 5 hours and that was with a teleconference going over VoIP at the same time.
