I have Sonar X1 and an Alienware laptop.  I am not good enough at this to get my audio working.  It did for awhile but, today I started Sonar and poked around trying to remove the latency.  I did not solve so I closed without saving.  Now, when I run Sonar, I cannot get any sound.  I'm sure one of you can walk me through this if you are willing.  I tried the store where i bought my keyboard and they won't touch my laptop.
Please help.  I just wanted to put something together and have wasted 3 hours getting nowhere.
 

What are you using for an interface to plug into and also listen/monitor with?

...and what are your laptop specs?
What/how are you doing? Recording a keyboad with a microphone? What kind of microphone?

Is your soundcard selected as the recording and playback timing master? Are its drivers selected in the in/out drivers box?

(BTW, this is the forum for SONAR 8.5 and earlier, but nevermind).
