Like others I've been having some noise, dropout issues in Sonar X1.

I disabled Automap and my noise problems seem to have gone away...

Has anyone else have this experience?

In Sonar 8.5.3 I had both Automap for my Remote SL as well as my BCF 2000 in Mackie mode running w/ no problems. I've yet to get to setting up my BCF 2000 since upgrading my new machine running Win7 and Sonar X1.

Thoughts opinions on why Automap would be causing problems and is this a known issue?

Many thanks.

I have automap and a Mackie BlackJack interface. I was able to eliminate all audio issues by doing the following: Updating to the latest mackie driver Turned on read and write caching Driver set to ASIO at 46.4 msecs Hope this helps! This is one of the best interfaces I've ever used.

hey Slumbermachine,

thanks for the info.

My issue is with AutoMap on an Novation ReMote SL and I'm hesitating to run my Behringer BCF 2000 control surface (in mackie emulation mode) since discovering the AutoMap issues.

My audio interface is an RME 9652 and Apogee Rosetta 800. The RME drivers are up to date and the firmware tool says I'm good, so I think I'm solid there.

and then again... maybe not... opened a project and the lack of Automap doesn't seem to be making a difference on the noise, pops, clicks... rrrrggg...
