I purchased X1 Producer last week and received it Friday!  I got my registration key and all.  I installed X1 and love it.  Now, I can't wait to get the free X2 upgrade.  I did not receive my serial number or download link by email yet.  How long does it take to verify everything(X1 purchase, etc...) and get permissions to download X2?

Register your X1 if you haven't already.
 
Then go to the link that applies to you Producer, Studio or Essentials you'll see the item in store for $0.00 add it to your cart and check out.
 
It will then check your eligibility and should put the registration and download details in your account.

I see my X1 Producer registered in "my account".  However, when I go to link to get my free X2, I get this error:

An item in your cart requires further validation: * SONAR X2 Producer Upgrade from SONAR X1 Producer Free  

Perhaps it is because there was no one in Cakewalk to verify my X1 purchase on the weekend?  I registered my X1 Friday when they were closed.  But, I did get my registration number emailed to me.  I assume this was automatic through their web server.


I'll wait tomorrow to see what happens.  Is this normal to take some time?

Contact customer support, it should show up but you may need to talk to someone to let them know what is (isn't) happening.

I musta bought X1 before the deadline.... oh well...

come to think of it... yeah, I knew that....why did I even bother to check? 

I guess I have to buy it if I want it.
