After creating and adjusting a V-Vocal clip (and it did mute the original) there is one section that I don't need in it and want to remove. However, even after selecting the section and trying EDIT\CUT (and it asks for EVENTS), or try to process and set the gain to Zero, it doesn't allow me to do anything. The clip is not locked.
 
Does this have to be done within V-Vocal? I can edit the original clip but not the V-Vocaled clip. There seems to me there has to be an easier way and I'm missing it.
