Is there a way to get Sonar (Platinum) to ignore Ctrl+Z while you are in the melodyne window?  If you hit ctrl+z while in melodyne it will just undo the last action you did in Cakewalk, which was to add the melodyne region fx, effectively erasing all your work.
 
It isn't nice to have a "erase all your work" shortcut when it's built into your muscle memory like ctrl+z :-(

I don't recall if this applies to Melodyne, but for most plugins there's a little keyboard icon in the title bar. Click on that and it's supposed to give all keystrokes to the plugin rather than passing them along to the host. It doesn't always work with all plugins, though.

Just a work around, but if I'm going to a lot of editing and need to do an undo, I first use the undo in the menu. After that you can use ctrl+z to your hearts delight in that session. Be better if Celemony fixed it though.

Great info.  I've always wondered why all my keystrokes were always given to Sonar.   I'll have to check this out.  

I've had this problem too, but its only if focus is outside of Melodyne.
Just make sure if you do a CNTRL+Z/Undo that your mouse has focus on Melodyne and not Sonar.

Okay I feel super stupid because now ctrl+z is staying in the Melodyne window.  So maybe I accientally gave Sonar focus for some reason?  Just I could have sworn that I was in the middle of chopping up a vocal, didn't like the adjustment I had just made, and ctrl+z went to Sonar rather than Melodyne.
 
I guess if that is really what happened there isn't a good solution because Sonar can't "know" the undo states of plugins.  (Though it would be AMAZING if Melodyne-like functionality was *part* of Sonar itself!)
