I have heard very realistic attacks and phrasing of orchestral wind and string instruments from breath controllers but to my shock, there are none in production.  I am not interested in a wind controller, which is basically the whole electronic flute - many hundreds of dollars, plus I can't play the flute, but just a simple breath controller which controls the dynamic phrasing of the note being held down on my Kurzweil keyboard.
 
Does anyone have information of any upcoming productions or where I could look?  Apparently the Yamaha BC3a went out of production a year ago.  This seems like a very basic tool that many people would find very useful.
