Isn't pressing the "F10" key supposed to cycle through the MUTE and ERASE buttons?  Or am I misunderstanding the help files?

EDIT:  Evidently, F10 was disabling all of my Smart Tools Function keys.  The function keys F5-F9 would work until you pressed the F10 key.  After that key was pressed, none would work.

I finally tracked down the problem as coming from importing my keybindings from my X1 installation.  There was no reference to the F10 in my old key bindings but zapping all keybindings, closing SONAR, reopening SONAR and importing the default keybindings for X2 enabled the F10 key.

F10 changes to and then cycles the mute/erase tool. F5 to get back to the smart tool.

Not cycling here for some reason.  I wonder what the issue could be.

In Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts, locate key for F10, in both the Global Bindings and the Track View Bindings.  If it's mapped to something, that will override it's "natural" function.  So, if it is, unbind it.

Reassigned keyboard shortcut possibly or even a dodgy key? That's caught me out more than once.

OK, none of my Smart Tool Function keys are working.  Any ideas of where to look for a reason?

Looked in the Keybindings and the Smart Tool keys are not bound to any other function.
