I haven't gotten a stuck note in PLAY for quite sometime until tonight, while using X2.  It only happened once, hopefully a fluke.

On a good note, everything else seemed to work fine, Softsynths, Plug-ins etc.
Not a fan of Breverb yet.  I find D-Verb much better, as well as Spaces.  Maybe I need more tweeking.
Haven't heard a difference in the console emulations, but maybe I will "catch on", eventually.  Overall, I have no complaints, just gotta get used to the Smart'er tool.

Although, I do wish you could adjust shades of colors for your tracks...ala PT.  The color options seem really harsh.  Maybe it's just me.

Mike,

You can adjust the colors of your tracks to what ever you like. You can do this through the Track Inspector.

Hit "I" to open the Inspector.
Click on the "Tracks" Tab.
There is a section named Colors that deals with the foreground and background colors of your tracks. You can also assign the track to one of the globally set colors by checking the "Use Track Colors" option.

If you click on the "Clips" tab you can adjust the colors of individual clips.

You can also customize the colors from the Preferences/Colors section.

Kinda makes you miss the old Panic button Cakewalk had that looked like Munch's "The Scream".

Hey Eric -

Thanks for the response.  Setting track colors is not the problem, it is the shade I wish to change.  You are correct, in the preferences you can adjust the shade, brightness etc...but it would be much easier if that adustment was where you set the track color (I hate to say this but, like ProTools has it set up)

For example, once in the track inspector, you pick your color, it would be nice to adjust the shade right there.  Going into the preferences does not seem ideal.

You can. It's just not obvious. In the Tracks tab try left clicking the colored bars next to Foreground or Background. A drop down menu will appear with some basic colors to choose from or you can select other and get a lot more choices including a color sampling tool you can drag over any color and match.

I hope that helps!

Ah yes, thanks Eric!  I don't know how I missed that.  Thank you
