When I try to pan on a bus it just stays right in the middle. What am I missing here? Cheers.

Dunno Beep. What have you been up to? Is it a stereo bus? Not that that should matter.

Yup. Stereo bus. I've got three guitar tracks going into it and I want to pan it left (and create a second that pans three other guit tracks right). It ain't doin' a darned thing. It's weird.

Another weird thing is I wanted to put Perfect Space on the bus to see how it sounded but when I went to load a preset all the folders were empty. I've used PS on tracks and it was fine. Urgh.

Is it just in your current project? Does another project behave the same way?

I can't even pan the tracks. This bad. They are completely masking the bass.

@synkro... This is pretty much the only project of this type I have. I'm pretty sure I was able to pan before. Just my luck. Totally simple task has to be a pain. ugh...

Could you have inadvertently created an automation somewhere that is locking the pan into position?

I've only done some volume edits and those were on the lead tracks. These are the rhythm tracks. The only pan fader that seems to be doing anything is the Master bus (so I know it's not an interface setting). This is very frustrating.

Any difference if you bypass all FX bins?    How about if the tracks feeding the bus are switched to mono?
