So I was using the Pan fader just above the slider in the console. I realize there's ANOTHER pan at the top of the strip. Turning it to the left made no change but turning it to the right complete turned off the signal. What the heck?!

A pan knob at the top of the CV strip?   I'm not in front of SONAR, but I really can't think what that would be..

Yeah, tracks have input gain trims whereas busses also have input pan knobs as well. I've never messed with them so I'm not sure what it is for...

There's a Gain and a Pan knob at the very top of the Console strips. I also see a "Sends" section that is grayed out that has a Level and Pan knob but I can use them probably because the bus is going to the Master.

So tell me this... when you guys turn the pan knob directly above the slider on a bus in the Console View it pans that bus left and right... correct? Is there anything special that needs to be done to make it do this? These are mono audio tracks if that makes a difference... but it shouldn't.

no, it shouldn't make a difference Beep and all is fine at my end, both X1 and X2

I can't think what is up with your setup today dood

Oh yeah...  Input trim and pan > FX bin > > sends > output pan and fader.    I would still try disabling all FX Bins, check bus pan, then change tracks to mono, check bus pan.  It sounds like you might have stereo tracks feeding a stereo bus, or with stereo FX.

This is making me completely insane. I thought maybe it had something to do with the "Sends" section of the strip even though I can hear the sound from the bus and all the effects I've applied to it. So I clicked the little + sign on that section a selected Master to send to. Well that just made a huge mess of slapback delay BUT the pan knob on that section actually seem to be doing something. Not actually panning hard left or right but there was an audible difference... but completely unusable. So I switch the send to None to get back to where I was (which worked) and tried to disable that section so it's grayed out again. It wouldn't gray out which doesn't matter I guess but yeah... starting to get a little red in the face here. Guess I have dig through all the manuals to see what I'm doing wrong. This project just doesn't want to end.

I would have a quick check to see if this issue is just with this project or if it affects a new clean project...

The effects I'm using are the Sonitus EQ, GR5 and the PC.
