I just upgraded from Editor 2 to Editor 4 for $99.  I think the $499 is the list price for a New user.

Apparently upgrading from Melodyne Essential 2 to Essential 4 is free.

It looks like the price to upgrade from Editor 2 to Editor 4 is $99 on the Celemony site. I don't see it elsewhere yet... will wait. I think Melodyne Essential 4 comes with Sonar. Maybe there will be a better price through Cakewalk or JRR but as of just now I didn't see anything at JRR.
edit> $50 more to go from Editor 2 to Studio 4... seems a "no brainer".  $149.
I'm sure it's more than I need but only 50 bucks more.. why not.

I just upgraded to editor not long ago, and I haven't used it enough to upgrade another version...yet. Plus I just paid for Sonar Platinum 2016. Still it's always good to see things moving along.

Meldoyne 2 Editor to Melodyne 4 Editor is $99.
Meldoyne 2 Editor to Melodyne 4 Studio is only $149. <- That might be my next purchase.

Hmm, I didn't see the Editor 2 to Studio 4 $149 upgrade or I might have gone that way just to get the 'Sound Editor' function to play with.

Editor (any version) to Studio 4  is the same price, $149, as Studio 3 to Studio 4... I like that since I have Editor 2.

Where (or how) are you finding these prices? I'm not seeing them anywhere on the Celemony site.
I have Editor 2 and nothing pops up telling me about the update.
