It's very "Ableton-esk"...

Still a bit of a weird interface if you ask me...still, I did kinda get used to the old one and I fly around it now.

I'm looking forward to the new version. I picked up JS 2 months ago and I've been happy with it, but I'd love a GUI overhaul and less hidden options.

Use JamStix 3 and have the free upgrade to 4 waiting for me when it is ready.
 
Really hope he put more time into the actual program.  The 3d set looks fine, but adds no real value to the program from what I can tell.  
 
The features such as linking parts (changes in Chorus 1 impacting Chorus 2,3, etc) are the more valuable things I see.  Look forward to see what else he came up with for the new version.
