Focus, or not?

If you choose "not," does that mean you're going to a Blur concert instead?

I see what you did there (just about..)

Wait a minute ... this was the best for your Monday? I think it says you posted it on Tuesday ... staying up late, of course. Nite owls ... who woulda thunk it?

I would go specifically to see Jan Ackerman, but as he is not with the band, you can assume that they will have an awesome guitarist anyways. So why not?    - ( I still vote that the guitar solo from Hocus Pokus is the greatest guitar solo in rock history.)
as for the Hackett show -Don't miss it ! Probably one of the best shows I've seen in 20 years. I caught his last of the Us tour in Chicago and it was truly a great performance.

Damn!

Tavistock is just over 100 miles from here but Friday is a big no-no for me.

My 4yr old granddaughter would NOT be amused as that's when we get to see her.

Well no contest, but its a shame when things clash.

I just booked, ironically the £2 saving for booking in advance was all but eaten up by the £1.60 booking fee

Tavistock Warf is a good venue and I like to support them, sadly some of the concerts have been very poorly attended in the past.

If you are a rock performer I say you should not go.  It's to risky considering what is going down now.  Stay home and record a song.

If I have a chance to say hello and take some pictures of the show and after the show, I probably would go ... right now, over here there is MAGMA and STEVE HACKETT to worry about, but I'm thinking that AL STEWART up north is more interesting than otherwise. Saw MAGMA as they came by here almost a year ago, was it ... ? And they were phenomenal!

Yes, I´m a bit jealous that Magma are touring the US that much now:

they sound as good as in the 70th ,80 th)
but it´s shure not everybody´s cup of tea:

^^^^^^^
THIS

Menno Gootjies and he can play! As can the othe "new boy" Bobby Jacobs on Bass.

I am glad I made the effort.

Pierre van der Linden was explosive, and importantly, musical, on drums, no way would you have said he was 70, he is amazingly fit.

Thijs Van Leer may have ambled onto the stage looking his age but once he started preforming the years fell away. What a charming fellow he is too, as I overheard some one saying in the car park afterwards, its impossible not to like him. I got chance to exchange greetings (like most of the the other punters) because he made his way quickly from the stage to exit to shake hands with those leaving. It the first time i have shaken hand with a Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau!

And he had a real Hammond (a very battered model A I think) and Leslie. No clone wheels and ventalators here!

Sadly, even though Christian and Stella still have the strength and ability, you know that this is coming to an end ... They are both getting up there, but I think that both of them are the kind of people that will do what they do until one of them falls over on the stage. The drumming power and strength alone, by Christian is insane!

That is ain't the cup of tea for many folks ... I don't care ... tell them to go eat cake!
