There are many gigs of content data that l'd love to avoid downloading if I already have it.  Is there anything in Loops, DimPro or Additional Content that has been updated since the last formal release?

I know this question has been asked before, but the (authoritative and definitive) answer was buried in other chatter.

Dan,

Regarding the loops content, the total size of what I had installed from X1 totaled 1.2 GB, while the size of the still compressed "Loops and One Shots" files downloaded for X2 total 4.3 GB.  Although I haven't installed them yet, it seems there must be quite a bit of new stuff in there based on the size alone.

Same here.
Loops and One Shots - what plugins/tools are these for?
Additional Content - is that only demo projects?

I'm thinkin' you can just use the loops as is...no plug required.  Just drag them out of the media browser, drop them in a track and roll out to fit.

I have no answer for you on the Additional Content.

The loops/one shots are accessible from the browser and can be used in the track view or Matrix view. No special plugins required. The FX presets are updated and can be used in the ProChannel or FX Bins. All MIDI patterns can also be accessed from the browser and dragged into projects.
