Ryan can you shed any light on Rapture (specifically 64bit). I have Rapture 1.2.2 file version 1.2.2.7 with all the expansion packs and a bunch of custom multisamples and programs and would like skip the Rapture install. Does X2 ship with a more recent version of Rapture?
Sure. The Rapture installer is a full 1.2.2 install that installs the plug-in as well as the content. It requires a different serial number (CWRP-1.22-XXXXXX-XXXXXX) so if you have an old serial number and want to install using this installer... make sure to grab your new one. The difference between this installer and what we had in the past is that the full version of Rapture that has been available to customers in the past was a 1.2.1 installer with an update available to 1.2.2.
If you already have it installed, end result on this is the same. As far as I'm aware no content or new features went into Rapture for the X2 release. I'll double-check with our product managers, but I'm pretty sure the content is the same. What's "new" is that it is the first time we've released the FULL version of Rapture to Producer customers versus Rapture LE.
The Rapture installer is part of the SONAR X2 Producer setup wizard, so if you choose "Basic Install" it will launch the Rapture installer at the very end (similar to how Guitar Rig 4 LE launched at the end of the SONAR X1 Producer installation). If you don't want to install Rapture because you already have it installed (or you don't have it installed and you're just crazy!),
then you can click [Cancel] on the Rapture setup screen or you can choose an "Advanced Installation" and remove it from your list of selected components. I'd recommend doing it the later way
though I haven't personally run into issues just clicking [Cancel]. EDIT TO MY OWN POST: see strikethrough text above. This could potentially cause this:

I hope that helps!

Not sure Dimension Pro 1.5 in X1 is the same as Dimension Pro 1.5 in X2. There is a folder called patch when it unpacks. Might have been the same with X1 who knows.
Well overdue for a Dimension Pro 1.6 anyway.
a) Admin permissions should not be needed to register.
b) When installing the installation files should unpack on the destination drive (installation), not the source drive (where the setup file is) .
Ditto with Rapture.
It's a pity because on the whole Sonar X2 installation routine and configuration is excellent, time to clean this up ! :).
In this case, I'm absolutely positive it is. I helped link up the X2 Producer purchases to the same downloads for X1 Producer purchases. Nothing has changed for this installer.
