If we had bought Sonar after it was released why would we expected an email notifying us it has become available?

So of course we all went for pre-sale :).

No email. I've signed up several times but only get emails when I order from the store, never any announcements.
 
I'm sure their email list is a few million strong... or maybe I'm on the "Do Not Send" list instead.

I always receive my order info, but have yet to receive any pre-announcements, newletters, etc. via e-mail ~ although I have received the electronic confirmation of the help ticket requesting that I be added to the list!
 
A bit surprised -
I have a couple of pages of purchases with Cakewalk on my account, covering just about every version of Sonar - and a LOT of addons! - dating back to 2001.
 
In fact, according to my purchase record, my purchase of Project 5 goes back to 1/1/1900!!
 

...but can I ask a simple question for those of you who haven't received an email - did you go for the pre-sale offer? "...Yes, I bought the pre-sale a few days before. I also got the 'Groove3 Sonar X2 video email, but still no presale even today. I think it's the only email I haven't got from Cake. Usually I'm bombarded every other week with them, even after I eventually give in. No big deal. It worked out for me just the same.
