I am downloading the X2 files now... looking forward to try X2 out:)

However, I didn't receive any e-mail or message from Cakewalk when my files were available for download in my account. I did go for the Pre-sale option, and thus I thought that I CW would tell me when I could.

I first found out that X2 was released when Groove 3 sent me an e-mail about their new X2 tutorials. I might have missed any message on Facebook or in the CW blog, however, I still believe that CW should have sent me an e-mail when the downloads where available.

I love X1 and hopefully X2, but think that the customer care/relationship needs improvement. 
I have had a lot of issues with my serials and registrations in my account settings. 

There's something wiggy about the Cakewalk emailman.

I too, never getting mail from them, even though it's one of the few companies I would like to be spammed by.

Don't take it personally, just looking around the various threads you will see there are many in the same boat :)

Go back and "update" your e-mail address in your Cakewalk account, even if its the same e-mail address.  That may help.

Ditto here.  I've never understood that either.  I've been with Cakewalk every version since the MS-DOS 2.0 version.  I have even written the company and asked them add me to their regular email list.  In all that time I have received very, very few emails from them announcing products or updates, other than the handful of times I've exchanged emails with tech support.  It's not a big deal, but it is very odd in this day of digital communication.

Good to hear that other have issue as well.... (no not).

Well, I guess we need to "Address" this to Cakewalk then;)

Same here. I get all the Cakewalk e-mails, but nothing this time. I saw the Groove 3 announcement as well, which is what made me think X2 might be available.
