A couple people have posted asking whether or not specific bug fixes are included in X2. I have
a few I'm interested in as well. I'd like a moderator to post a sticky with the complete list of
problem report numbers that are addressed in X2. I'm looking for actual report numbers, not
simple statements like "we fixed several issues related to the metronome". I'd rather not waste
time checking out a demo to confirm things for myself. Thanks in advance.

When I get my next job I'm going to ask if someone can do it for me because I can't waste the time.

Typically software is released with notes. That's when we'll all be able to read about the fixes.

ok - let me explain the problem in more detail. I already have 4 jobs. So I'm a little busy. I make sure
my people are really busy. Loading and checking a demo just to make sure the people at Cakewalk
are doing their jobs, is NOT one of my jobs. Second, the notes they release are typically in bullet list
form and have nebulous statements like, fixed problems with the metronome, or corrected issues
with midi transmission. I need to know if they're saying 5448 is fixed, and 5762, and so forth. Get the idea?

Well it's really no use posting here as this site isn't actively moderated like many other forums - it's strictly peer-to-peer

So do yourself a favour and contact tech support

seriously,a post like this laying out your demands and adding how busy you are.
that doesnt go over well here.
like bj said,we are a peer to peer forum helping eachother.

I've purchased/used a lot of different software over the past 20 years.
All software releases I've seen have "bullet-lists" with short (somewhat vague) descriptions of changes/fixes.  You'll also find this with hardware/firmware updates.

While I'm sure issues 5448 and 5762 are important to you... many folks wouldn't have a clue what those case numbers represent.  Thus, I doubt you'll see that type of list posted here...
I'd take the advice above and contact Cakewalk support.

FWIW, On a peer-to-peer forum, starting out with a "sour" attitude will usually elicit sarcastic responses.
My guess is that virtually everyone here would consider themselves somewhat busy.

It's a good idea but sometimes bugs are compound so a single fix may cover several case numbers.

I'd add more but I don't have time.
