Safe to say I think some stuff will get fixed and some won't, and some new issues will appear.

Good luck getting the kind of report you're after. This request sounds like board room material so you know how that's gonna go over.

The Bouy seems to have it nailed.

A haiku of hope

X2 will have no
Bugs. Old and/or new. Or not,
As the case may be.

When I get my next job I'm going to ask if someone can do it for me because I can't waste the time.

I don't think that's the OP's job. I think Cakewalk should be posting a list of what flaws were fixed. Surely they MUST be tracking that kind of information so why can't they share it with the paying customers?

The could share it, they choose not to. By just publishing the tracking IDs and whether they are fixed in X2 (as the OP requests) might be of little value for most here. To publish the entire detailed bug list or the portion of the bug list addressed by X2 might be more that the company wants to disclose. As a paying customer you are not privy to a company's internal processes. It would be interesting though.

They Have said via webinar and/or forum that the Fastbouncing issues with timecode/tempo based plugins has (supposedly) been fixed, as well as the midi FX bug of a FATAL crash associated with deleting clip with Any midi FX inserted in clip, as well as dragging midi fx to/from clips/bins. my 2 sticky pennies...
