cant you change the track colors using the insector ?
just highlight the clip your using and you can change the tracks backround and clip color right there in the inspector.

I move away from Cubase to SONAR because of the color more customization! Now Cakewalk has LOCKED all the colors in SONAR X2. Nothing can be change any more. Not even the "track pane color" can be changed anymore that I prefer to be complete black! Now its DARK GREY too?
This obsession of GREY every where?

You can’t change anything not even the bars and beats tracks whatever. Why in GOD name do they have COLORS in the preference if you can’t change any of it?

As for now Cubase has more customizations to offer then SONAR X2? I’m very close to give up...

Sorry Freddie, as much as I enjoy your posts, if you are angry when you can't change the color of a recording programm ..........

There are much more serious things in life you know?

Hi Freddie,

I wanted to mention that it will look a lot better if your monitor is calibrated. There are some HiDef cal patterns on u-toob. You'll have to DL them. ; ;

I did it and it made a big difference for the better.
