Should everyone have their downloads/serials in their accounts by now? I bought the X1 upgrade last week from Sweetwater, registered it, and still don't see anything for X2 in my account. 

Same Here.  Purchased the upgrade from Cakewalk.  Registered the serial number and received the registration code for X1
 
Unfortunately no serial number for X2.  I guess we'll have to wait till the dust settles

These downloads are only for people who participated in the pre-sale. Free upgrades will be fulfilled later this month when SONAR X2 goes on sale to the general public.

If you purchased "X2" directly from the Cakewalk Store as part of the Pre-Sale promotion, then you should already have your serial numbers & downloads.


If you purchased "X1" prior to the Pre-Sale as part of the "Buy X1 get X2 Free" promotion your downloads will be available at a later time. If you purchased X1 through a retailer or the Cakewalk store starting August 1st, and registered, you'll be eligible for the free upgrade to X2 as well. The process for these folks will be that they "purchase" X2 for free through the online store.

I'm not complaining! Buy the upgrade get X2 for free!  Can't be to picky about that. <Wipes drool!>

You ensure the sale of a new product by enticing us to buy a product that is being discontinued anyway under the guise that we get the X2 uprgrade free and then we have to wait til "Later in the month" to receive the upgrade because we did not participate in the pre-sale. Didn't we participate in the Pre-pre-sale???

Well if Bapu was the first to DL it will be interesting to see who posts that they were the first to install with screen shots to boot!

it sounds perfectly clear to me.
you pre purchase,you get the download before anyone else..they gave us a months advance notice on this.
im not sure what your complaint is.

Going slow here.  I started downloading 20 minutes ago and I'm only at 18% of the first .exe file.

These orders are fulfilled in different way and only people who participated in the pre-sale are getting them now. That's what we told customers when we announced the pre-sale. SONAR X2 download will be available for sale on the store at a later date. This applies to the free upgrades as well. Please be patient, it will happen soon enough.

Ok, I bought an X1 Producer upgrade (came from 7.0 Producer) from Sweetwater earlier this month and registered it 9/12 so I guess I fall into the category of having to "purchase" X2 for free through the online store when available. I'm guessing I'll receive an email with instructions once it's ready? 

Or am I in the "Buy X1 get X2 Free" group? It's a bit confusing.
