Just opened a project and so far it runs very well. The drab console view is hard to look at but where are the meter values? It helps to see the numbers but there does not appear to be any there.

The wierd part is if I hover my mouse, it shows up in the tooltip.

Yeah the default color layout is kinda hard on the eyes to see those numbers on the console, hopefully panup will come to the rescue. In the meantime, you could go to prefs->Colors and then scroll all the way down to the bottom. I've changed the "Console View Strip Label Text" to a dark gray which makes the numbers under the meter more easily visible.  For the numbers under the Faders and near the panpots, goto the console view color catagory and change "Console View Control Text and Values" to whichever color you like. You might need to restart to see the changes.

We'll see what happens. Like colors are extremely hard for me.
