You do know that Rush are touring the UK next Spring?

I'm hoping to go if I can drum enough interest up this end.

  So... it's getting close! :) Can anyone tell me if i got the full package, or if i left anything out? I have X1 Producer and... I got the X2 Producer Upgrade "Early Bird" for $119.00. A friend of mine asked me if i got all the included plugs with that... so i thought i better check. I received three serial numbers - X2, Rapture, and Dimension Pro. Is that everything? Do we download Rapture and Dim Pro separately from X2?

I already have the full versions of DimPro & Rapture, and I'm presuming that they will work in X2...so I don't think I'll have to download the versions included with X2. Unless someone with more experience of these things...that's just about every Member of this site...knows differently??

Waiting on X2 to finalize the tracks on my latest 10 songs for CD.  I hope the upgrade goes well or I'll really be upset.  

Just want to use some breverb and other new features and master the tracks with the same/similar gloss.

FWIW, I wouldn't hold back on finalizing tracks just to see if X2 can add a little extra 'mojo' - if it;s just reverb you;re after, X1 has got Perfect Space included.

Also, Bonjo, I intend to download absolutely everything and install it - for all we know, both DimPro & Rapture have had an update (I'm pretty sure Rapture HAS been updated - check the version you've got from the .dll properties - if it doesn't start with 1.2.2 you have an outdated version)

I plan to do the same just download everything from scratch to be on the safe side.

As far as needed to d/l DP and Rapture, this http://forum.cakewalk.com/fb.ashx?m=2663315 is the only thing I have found. Aside from a new serial number there is no indication of any other changes. DP has been at 1.5 and Rapture has been at 1.2.2 for some time.

I might go. I didn't get to see them on the last two tours they did. In other words, just the Vapour Trails show, at the NEC second time round. I remember having a rather numb bum at the end of the evening... what a show.


I've got a couple of their DVD's which I watch from time to time. I think Alex is a great guy to be around, so damn funny, and kind of offsets Neil's rather intense and serious nature. Not that he's a miserable guy or anything, but you get the feeling that he is still feeling the loss of his daughter and then wife. That said, I've not seen any recent interviews with Neil.


I've also read Neil's compelling book Ghost Rider.
