I can wait as the upgrade price will remain at $99.00 USD. And I already have high quality orchestral instruments. To tell you the truth, I'm disappointed that the bonus for early adopters is an external string library. I expected at least a Pro Channel module..., a never been seen before PC module. I'm not complaining since I got all PC modules including the Softube bundle on special, and they have and will continue to serve me very well. But this special is unfortunately not a special for me, and others in the same situation. I might just have to go and drown my sorrows with Fabfilter's Saturn. C'est la vie.

Note: For those without a string library, it's worth your while IMHO.

Addition: Oh..., how about giving us a choice of either the DSF string library or a couple of cakewalk coffee mugs? I'd upgrade right away!

+ got the strings thing

- yay another copy of rapture I don't want (could have knocked £10 off it ;) )
- the price of the box is too much £15 or £18 fair enough. It must cost  them £5 for them to make

Just watched the webinar. It's gonna happen this week. This really is the place X1 was destined to be. If the other DAW companies aren't paying attention to what's happening with this release I think they might have a real problem in coming years. The Skylight and the PC are now young adults and ready to do donuts on your front lawn. Hopefully the Bakers can now aim their sights on some of the bare threads and X3 will dominate the landscape.

I think I'll wait for my next machine (I'm XP) and also to see how many bugs issues show up in the first few months. :)

I just watched (most of) the video... My internet connection crapped out and now I'd have to download the 1:10 already watched a second time.... I can't handle it...

But, first let me say, Wow! I'm very impressed with the demo that Brandon and Seth gave... It certainly covered many if most most of the bases and it appears that they've cleanup up and enhanced so many issues that I'd pay the upgrade for almost any one of them!

Too bad I'm broke right now, but I expect to be ordering it before the 9/30 deadline for sure! The new snap and auto-zoom will relieve a huge amount of click intensive labor if it works for even 1/2 the situations I run into...

I'm both excited and relieved as I was so disappointed with X1 for so long...

Great work gang! Kudos to the Bakers for sure!

I am getting ready to upgrade but I cannot decide if I want to add the TH2 full version for 99 bucks. After watching the webinar I was impressed at how this version will speed things up in my work flow. I think the zoom tool and the new snap options are great. R mix looks great to.

In the Webinar they said that the studio version of TH2 does not contain the pedal effects, but the producer version of TH2 does. So my question is this. What is the difference between the Producer version and the full version? Now I am thinking about waiting before I upgrade to TH2 to see if I can spot the difference. I was going to spend the 99.00 for the upgrade to TH2, but now I want to know what that buys.

Still going to upgrade to X2 soon
