I was on the fence about going for the upgrade-get-the-update-free deal, upgrading to Production Suite as it's the only thing I can upgrade to, even though I have Producer Expanded and Z3TA 2 already... just to get the expander/gate module. The X2 presale has wiped that possibility off the map, as the production suite upgrade is gone from the store along with everything else X1. Oh well. 

I will definitely get X2 fairly early on; it looks great from where I'm sitting. I haven't decided about the pre-sale yet, I have a strong su****ion the Strings pack will not be a big motivator for me - I get along with the Kontakt strings (VSL subset) pretty well and am not looking for another probably not particularly fabulous string set; the demo I just listened to didn't help much. If anyone gets it running and is blown away, let me know!

For those of us who went ahead and upgraded to Production Suite with the understanding that it would include a FREE upgrade to X2 Producer...they have changed the webpage where we ordered it from.

It no longer says..."Purchase X1 Production Suite and get a free upgrade to X2 Producer".  It has been changed to this page...

This is copied from the exact same link that took us to the "Upgrade to Production Suite" page we bought the upgrade from just days ago.

It obviously has been changed and does not even mention Producer or Expanded...it starts with 8.5 and goes backwards.

I'm also concerned that my $100 upgrade does NOT show up in my "Purchase History" section on my account page...although every other purchase I have made is listed there.

I hope I'm just being paranoid here about the "Free" upgrade to X2...but it does look kinda suspicious.

Strings are probably worth upgrade price on their own. Just d/l and had a quick tootle...beautiful. 8-)

I also bought Production Suite and was hoping for the Free Upgrade.

Don't see any reason why it won't happen,lot's of us saw the offer.

Perhaps someone would care to clarify the position.

Only bummer, I was NOT the first to own X2.

I'm in.   Or least I plan to be later this month.    The webinar completely pushed it over the edge for me...
