I have to say Craig, this song "Black Market Day Dreams" is really catchy,I only listened a couple times, and today when I woke,it was playing along in my head.

I don't wish to stir controversy, but your listing states-"written by Mark Longworth",yet there is this version of the same song :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWrTJz2OkMM&feature=related

I think your version is wayyy better, and they are the same song, but this one has the songwriter as Saul T whatever[dodgy name] so who actually wrote it,when, and who are these other guys?

Cheers

Mark Longworth is  " Saul T. Nads" - bit of a humorous pseudonym - get it Salty Nads :)

Checkout Saul T. Nads Myspace http://www.myspace.com/songsivewritten

and then

Mark Longworth's ReverbNation page http://www.reverbnation.com/marklongworth

It will all be clear immediately.

Google is my friend.

Hey Jind,yeah I got  the Salty part[blek].

I thought it might perhaps work out as much,I was just hoping to hear it from the man himself I guess,it always surprises me a bit[tiny bit] when someone writes a good song, and has to put some pseudonym like that on it.....oh well,I guess if I'm ever gonna try to be humorous,it has to be more violent/disturbing[hopefully],different strok....folks I spose?

I also enjoy the sos articles I would to know if you can do an in-depth on the prochannel plug ins starting with the pc2a

Interesting idea, but what do you have in mind? Techniques about how to use them, reviews, talking about differences and similarities? Please elaborate a bit, and I'll see what I can do.

Well when I was growing up, Dixieland was all the rage. Okay, I'm not really THAT old...

Dude, you were my hero when I was a kid reading the Electronic Music column in Popular Electronics.

And I'm THAT old now :)

True story: I had just finished a seminar, and one of the attendees came up to me. He said "Hey, weren't you the guitarist in Mandrake, back in the 60s?" I thought wow, that's cool, some kid into my ancient music! But then the punch line: "My parents LOVED your band!"

I've got three of you PAIA circuit boards sitting here that I may finally solder up some day.

I can't even guess how long ago It was that I got them.

Wow, I remember the PAIA kits.  Wasn't there a little analog synth called "The Gnome" or something like that?  It had a VFO and some filters, maybe some wave shaping?  I think you could get a little keyboard to trigger it too.....

Yep, seems some of us are THAT old, LOL!

Before this thread falls off the front page...could you give me a little better idea of what you have in mind concerning an "in-depth" of the PC plug-ins? Review, techniqes, all of the above? And of course, if anyone else has any suggestions, PLEASE chime in!! A lot of my ideas for Sonar columns come from hanging around in this forum
