Well when I was growing up, Dixieland was all the rage. Okay, I'm not really THAT old...

Dude, you were my hero when I was a kid reading the Electronic Music column in Popular Electronics.

And I'm THAT old now :)

John

True story: I had just finished a seminar, and one of the attendees came up to me. He said "Hey, weren't you the guitarist in Mandrake, back in the 60s?" I thought wow, that's cool, some kid into my ancient music! But then the punch line: "My parents LOVED your band!"

LOL, classic!

Before this thread falls off the front page...could you give me a little better idea of what you have in mind concerning an "in-depth" of the PC plug-ins? Review, techniques, all of the above? And of course, if anyone else has any suggestions, PLEASE chime in!! A lot of my ideas for Sonar columns come from hanging around in this forum
One thing that seems to come up on here is a lot is in which order to use the modules in the PC.  I often answer with suggestions of my favorite chains such as PC76, EQ, SAT knob (Set to High only), PC2a for Vox etc.,  or when to use a compressor before or after EQ.

I've seen many posts asking about this quite regularly, so I guess there's an interest.  Just a thought..

I also enjoy the sos articles I would to know if you can do an in-depth on the prochannel plug ins starting with the pc2a

Interesting idea, but what do you have in mind? Techniques about how to use them, reviews, talking about differences and similarities? Please elaborate a bit, and I'll see what I can do.

Okay, consider it done...I'll do vocals, but also other instruments because orders that work for some instruments don't work for others. Thanks again for the suggestions!!

Craig, I'd like to see a feature on mixing Acoustic 12 string with PC modules - recorded in stereo naturally!
