I want to start off by saying that I love the fact that Cakewalk hired Ben Staton. This is a wise move and made me feel good in keeping my trust in Cakewalk and X1.

...I need my Sonar Plus fix, even in X1D. I feel like i can not live without the magical 'toggle fullsize button' anymore (and all the other cool stuff).

So maybe we can somehow ask Ben to at least make Sonar Plus load up in X1D or maybe he could open the source code up to someone else doing the conversion?

Who else wants Sonar Plus in X1D as bad as me?

I'm going to need X1D Yellowstone mod by Panu as well.

I can't speak for Ben, but I still think the current version would work. It barked at me after I did the Quick Fixes awhile back but still functioned in the program.

Ben's probably contracted up and can't develop it ....
 unless the powers that be ask him...

really hope X1D integrates some of the ideas... especially the rhythm icons in SV..

I'm not certain about this, but the only issue typically for allowing Plus to run is that it will not like the version number being changed...

Unless I'm mistaken, Panu once before adjusted this when Ben was busy elsewhere during an update... So I'm thinking (and hoping) he will be able to do the same when X1d is out...

It doesn't sound as tho any of the items Ben addressed in Plus have been changed in d, so I'm guessing that's all the issue....?

Here's hoping as without Plus, I would very quickly be back to hating X1 as I had been before Ben gave it to us...

Panu is busy preparing his new applet for applying mods and I'm sure he'll have that working with X1d in a blink!

You're absolutely right...  I don't know that... But I didn't see it in the webinar which included X1d's first viewing (tho it was said it wasn't 100% complete)...

It will be wonderful if it is included...

I'm very happy for him to have received a good job. I truly am and I look forward to seeing some of his input in the upcoming releases... Be it X1d or later...
