I'm a fan of EW products personally... People like to Biotch about the Play engine? But I really like their stuff. If you don't have Gypsy? (I know it's old, I don't even know if they still sell it? But I really like it)

This has a dark and somber feel to it... (like my last blind date?) Thank God she was from the Netherlands so we could "go Dutch?" I never got to her "Nether Lands..."  (Good thing since we went Dutch.)

This was tragic man... (Not that it wasn't excellent?) You have pain in your past, I hope you have less in your future.

Nicely done piece but seems to be missing some depth.  I am not a big fan of instrumentals unless there is some strong lead instrument that takes me away.  Melancholy or whatever it needs some thing.  Now, that's just my opinion.  I have many melancholy times and therefore like the music.  Give me a good hard rocking song and then a smooth melancholy tune and I'm good.   I am listening again to see if I can hear just what was bothering me.  For me, some percussion or something around 1:00 would have worked for me.  I'm assuming that's not what you were shooting for or it would be there.  Anyway, good tune and the mix seems fine.

Hey thanks for listening again Robbie, Gypsy is still around and funny enough a friend of mine also said I should get it. Perhaps in the future. just spent a few quid on solo violin, Steinway piano & HW strings. If I keep added more EW I'm gonna need a new PC.

Thanks Warren, I'm going for a delicate piece on this one. Just picture the title in your mind when listening to the tune. I do the heavy rock songs in my band, this is just me trying something different.

All the best Guys. :)

I enjoyed this! I am also a fan of melancholy, so it is right up my alley. You must have already made some changes based on recommendations because I thought it sounded nice and wide. Simple but effective.

I did like this. Very moody and certainly very listenable. I too would have liked a little more movement on the piano. It's very loud and up front all the time, there are times where i would have liked it to have drifted a little into the background then come forward again to give the piece more light and shade.

I thought it sounded pretty good as is, I am listening to the last take, so have no idea what all has been changed or added. The movements seem fine based on the title and the concept behind the piece. It certainly makes you feel like you out in the middle of a meadow at night stuck in a rain storm. The darkness in the piece fits in very well because of the nature of the piece. I like my East West Boesendorfer 290 piano, has some great sounds to it, but this one you used fits the piece nicely. I liked the use of the thunder and stormy/rainy effects, they kind of tied everything together for me. I think the mix you have now is pretty nice and everything seems to be in their own space withot being to far spread out. Very nicely done and sounds great.

Peace and Blessings, John

Thank you one more time John for checking out all of my postings.

If you can picture being out on a meadow at night then I'm doing something right.

I've just started to move to Eastwest, loving the sound quality. Need more of their products. I'm eyeing up the choir one at the mo.
