I've been a band that played a much worse version of JbG than that.

No doubt the guitar work was OK though

The problem for our band is which version ?

Guitarist 1 : Jimi Hendrix
Guitarist 2 : johnny Winter
Bassist : Judas Priest (true)
Drummer : doesn't care
Singer : are we in A ?

So to sum up, we don't play it ...... Crazy and cridiculous

Cheers,
Jerry

I'd choose Pepe Romero or Andres Segovia instead of Jimi Hendrix.  I studied with their students

I include Jimi Hendrix with Pepe Romero or Andres Segovia!  I've studied all 3 of them for decades each and I can tell you they all are worth the time spent. The guitar was their band !

Funny, but the drinks are backwards.  Pepsi is a poor form of "New Coke" (which was a mistake as well).

Best concert ever when I saw Segovia in Madison, WI ... he broke a string and he continued like nothing happened and at the end of the song he apologized for the broken string and asked if it sounded alright ... you just about couldn't tell there was a broken string!!! You wanna talk about a guitar player ... yeah ... that's what you call a master in Europe.
