i'd like to see forum hosts deleting off-topic responses in threads, but i don't know how to make them do this - heyulp!

Some threads do veer off-topic now and then - it's the nature of public forums.

I wouldn't care to impose any stricter policing of this.  I'd rather tolerate a bit more "freewheeling attitude" than have mods deleting posts left and right because they weren't strictly about the topic at hand.

forum feedback is supposed to be in the forum it's relevant to, since the discussion forum was removed, so i'll post it  again
"thanks" anyway hoster

Deleting is too Medieval...  I prefer just editing the replies to make them more humorous!

Also I could rightfully delete this thread due to it being a duplicate of another. I wont because I give people some freedom as long as its not harming anyone.  Just saying!

I want the forum to be as open as possible and without people thinking about being singled out for a minor infraction. Only when some one steps over the line and starts bashing people or attacking people will I take action. I believe most members prefer it that way.

If that is not the case and most want stricter enforcement we can adjust.

Having been a senior admin / mod for many years in other forums, I can tell you that as soon as ANY serious enforcement begins, people start leaving - most simply on "principal" (whatever that means to them).
