I spoke to Billy on the phone back in late January, but haven't heard from him since.  We have mutual interests in musical styles and were throwing around the idea of collaborating on some tracks.  I just tried calling his cell and home phone numbers, but got "unavailable" messages for both.  He's such a great guy - I'm really hoping for the best.

I'm in Manhattan. Do you know where Billy lives? I don't know the city all that much besides the neighbor and East Village but I may be able to try and check on him in the next few days if you have any info. Just pm me.

Have a bad feeling about this, sorry for the bad vibes, guys... Phones out of service. Recent serious health problems. Ah crap. Hope he's OK after all. Would be a loss, obviously for his friends and family, but for the forum as well. He always brings a dose of equity, experience, and clarity to the discussions...  

I've had this running in the back of my mind pretty much all day. Hoping that Scott will be able to provide more details so I can go check out and find out that there's an explanation to all of this and that he's doing fine. 

i was looking to see if he has a facebook page, but he doesnt, looked at his websites, but dont look like they have been updated in a while !!!

This is really a great thread, I look forward to coming to this forum because it is so active and people do become friends.

I don't post much, but he was very helpful when we interacted on the forums. Seemed like a very genuine person and super nice. Had a way of diffusing "hot" posts too. My thoughts are with him.

Oh... This made me worry. I'll follow this thread for updates. 

Billy was always cool. I've had some heated - but indeed constructive - discussions with him here. He was the most calm frustrated user when X1 came out but stayed with the community even though he ventured over to the S1 camp for a bit. Great guy with great knowledge and a great sense for diplomacy. 

I hope all is well with him.
