I must admit I remembered the name but couldn't remember what interaction I'd had with him.
I do remember being impressed with his musical prowess though and am listening to a great track by him as I type, the title of which is quite poignant and for his sake I hope it's true And Life Goes On

Not really my genre at all but this is very good and his talent is obvious.

Ditto to what everyone else has already said.   I've had quite a few discussions with Billy, both on forum and off.   He was always open-minded and easy to get along with even if there were differences of opinion.  And he was very good at his chosen style of music, banging out electonic/danceable tunes on a regular basis.

Here's hoping we'll hear from him soon.

I gave Billy a PM on the Studio One forums, and asked if he could stop buy and let all know that he is well.
I did find a post over there where he was talking about not being active on the Sonar forum for his own reasons.
So I hope he will respond and let us know that all is well. I could not find any current posts I am sorry to say.

Hi All,

Oh no, I hope that isn't billy. His CEL phone is a 212-362-xxxx and work was 917-975-xxxx. I believe this was his address but I might be wrong. These are the leads Im following.

260 W 72nd St, Apt 11B
New York, NY 10023-2822

He use to run a record company but I dont remember the name. I do see a Billy Arnell connected to a "Break Out Music" in the YNC area.  Another record company:

Arnell Music

Address: 24 S. Broad St, Norwich, New York, 13815-1620

Thank you all for taking the time on this, I'm at a loss for words.

Best Regards,

I'Ve been digging a little on Billy.  Check this out:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riot_(band)

From That Page:

Riot's management, Billy Arnell and Steve Loeb spent their last dollars remaining from the Capitol advance retaining important indie FM radio promotions to promote the Riot album. They put it on as many radio stations around the country as possible, thus raising the radio profile enough to where Capitol picked up their option for another record. And thus began Riot's biggest selling album titled Fire Down Under.

Indeed, billy had a record company and was fairly successful with it. That does seem like that could possibly be him.

I know Billy like to take breaks and such, but we talked often. If something like a break would happened he would text, especially if his phone numbers changed for sure. I am preying for the best, I truly hope Billy is okay he is a great guy! One of the best.

Billy was one of the guys who helped me enormously during my first tentative steps with 6PE.

I sincerely hope everything's ok with him. As has been said, one of the best.
