I noticed I have a file on my c drive called multisamples perhaps you do as well and several files exist in it as well as in my dim pro directory multisample file Question 1 should it be okay for me to delete the redundant file on my c drive? When I had a problem with rapture not finding files for some DSF example patches I found the file for them in the multisamples file on my c drive and I manually moved those files to the rapture le multisamples file and that worked for me but I still have several progs in rapture that are saying missing files should I search for the file name it says is missing? ALSO BIGGIE HERE I NOTICE SONATINA SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA IN YOUR DIRECTORY. IS there a way to use this in DIM PRO? Do we need to write SFZ files for using it or will dimpro create them?

from whats been said...
sounds like a tree error IF it's working on some libs and not others.. DSF did offer the pack as a bundle of all the emu modules as a download or at 1 point, to buy in a shop.

easiest way to explain it
the "prog" file (with DP's browser, what you click) points to say... "c:\samples\dsf\emu2000"
the file it actually in  "c:\samples\emu2000"

so it won't be able to find the file it's looking for , because the tree (folders) are different

if you have copied off an older drive, OR not extracted with a full path  if it's a zip file then such problems occur.

after a test on my other machine...
it's loaded in the progs *BUT* not the sample content, that's on the additional content disk. = why you're having issues.
not sure if the dsf thing is just examples of the full lib. but thats where the emu stuff is also from

if you f5 it...

it's a muck up . .as you notice "emu examples" *BUT* the prog list for the full sounds further down, which will have errors..   they shouldn't have been included (by the looks of it).. so easiest way to sort it, just remove the ones that are wrong all the EMU models.

the most obvious thing is to see 5mb beside to see if they have samples
most of us wouldn't have noticed it IF we are using older install disks.. first time I tried the x1 DP disk

or the other thing is maybe it's expecting just "program files" not (x86) with it.. I recall someone having that issue with it ages ago, not finding sounds.

programs / multi samples on mine have gone different places

when DP was started , Win7 and vista didn't exist.. and since then "program data" is used to store stuff (inc. the DP progs) and same with rapture (vista was just out then) .. I think the emu ones you can just remove from that folder as it was a mistake by the looks of it
