I didn't buy the pack but I bought them all. They were all on sale at one time or another.
I like them all but my favorite is the Concrete Limiter. I also like the PC2A T-Type Leveling Amplifier. The  PC4K S-Type Expander / Gate is also useful.

I think they are all darn good.

Likewise.

Don't forget, they weren't introduced as a complete pack but rolled out one at a time, which is how I and a lot of others purchased them.

Snap to all of that.

The Maillard Reaction

I bought some of them.

They seem kind of expensive for something you can only use with the SONAR Producer dongle.

Heck they don't even work in SONAR Studio or Essential.

There's better.

There's cheaper.

There's cheaper and better.

Most of the alternatives come with real value. e.g. you may use them in the other DAWs you need now that we have all learned that we need several DAWs to get a full spectrum of functionality.

Most of the people who have bought, downloaded, and use the Pro  Channel stuff got their goodies for $10 a pop... which ought to leave you with some sense of how valuable a set of dongled and crippled VST efx is worth these days.

You can buy em and try em, or consider some great alternatives. Some of the alternative actually have demos that you may try.

best regards,
mike

It would seem that Mr. Graig Anderton  thinks highly of them. See here.

I have also purchased all 4 of them when they came out.  It seems every project I have created in the past year now has at least 3..  Looking at them in summary, I have used the PC2A on almost every vocal track (maybe I am addicted - I just add it when I am done tracking-always), the concrete limiter on individual instrument tracks that I wanted more power on, and the compressor on a lot of individual drum tracks which helped me tame and make them stand out.. I have only used the gate a few times it seems, more than likely because I have not learned to 'hear' the areas it can be applied in. You can tell, I am not the technical type - but I am very happy with the sound results, the ease in which they are used, and the pro channel concept of having them right in front of me as I mix.  I would certainly purchase them again.

I'm in the "+" camp for the plugins....the gate works wonders on noisey guitar tracks for me.  The concrete limiter is finding a place in just about every mix.

Like LLyons,  I am not a tech guy.  they are simple and easy enough for me and my mixes are way better 'cause of them.

I was looking at that bundle but I already have the thingy that came with the Expanded Suite so I'm just waiting to see if the individual modules go on sale. I think the Concrete Limiter would be something I'd use.

I am in the same boat as Beepster.  I will wait for the Concrete Limiter and PC2A to go on sale.  Hopefully together for the people who got the Expander/Gate on the upgrade. (Hint hint)
