Maybe I'd better research more before just handing over cash for the PC stuff.

I've got all of the PC modules but I haven't used them in anger yet so I can't pass judgement. I will say, however, that I like the principle of having the PC strip as opposed to using the effects bin.

One question I have been asking myself lately is, does someone that produces mainly electronic stuff using virtual synths really need PC anyway? I think the only time I will use some of those modules would be to tame some of the damaging low frequency waves that some of the synths produce and can be below the normal human ear range (or even high frequency stuff as well).

I dunno... perhaps I have answered my own question there...

Most certainly you can benefit from PC modules. Do you not eq, compress, limit, gate/expand, tweak, damage, distort, clean up or reverberate in electronic music? Wouldn't you like to see stuff that is capable of performing those tasks right in pro channel? My answer would be "yes" no matter what style of music I'm into. :)

Hi Danny, yes, of course, and I don't know what I was thinking there and I can only blame the amount of pain killers I'm on at the moment lolz they're knocking me sideways...

LOL, you poor guy! I know that feeling! And I don't miss it. Although, I gotta admit, I didn't much mind Vicodin even if it didn't stop my pain. Hahaha! I hope you feel better and what ever is causing your pain goes away.

At the end of the day synkotron, the PC plugs will always be subjective really. I think they work well but can also admit to not using them exclusively. I think they have their place and like most of the Sonar related plugs, really give you a bang for the buck. As you know, I'm also in the same camp as you. It's nice to have them right there in front of me in PC without double clicking an fx bin plug. :)

I have all but the Expander/Gate and the PC2A leveling Amplifier.  Not sure that I need the gate, but am looking to purchase the 2A next time it goes on sale.
The ProChannel really works well for me and my style.  I use the daylights out of it in my projects and folks say my work is getting better all the time.

Actually, I recently won a 1st Place spot in the Telefunken Mixdown Olympics, and the PC modules were used extensively in that project.

So yes, I'm a fan.

Good luck.
