Hi all.

Just wondering if there are any opinions out there (haha...) on Lexicons' Pantheon Reverb which comes with Sonar, versus their MPX plugin.  Is MPX worth the cost when compared to Pantheon?  Any significant difference for $199?

Or... is anyone using something better than these two for around the same cost?

Thanks.

Tony

I don't know anyhing about MPX but I will plug Valhalla Room given any chance. $50 and it is excellent.
Search these forums - it has a lot of fans.

Breverb is only $99 when you upgrade to X2 ;)

Grab the demo, and if you like it, then you've got a cheap plug with a bonus X2!!!

I never liked the sound of the Pantheon - hardly ever used it.  Too thick or something.  I can't imagine I'd like the full plug-in better.  But that is just me.  I just got a mix back from a "pro" mixer and he did a vocal wash using the lex from the UAD, I think he said.  Wow!  He did a great job with it.

As always, it is a taste decision and how well the plug works for you.

Note:  I do like the breeverb.  If it was me I'd spring for the that - or get the Softube bundle if it goes on sale.

+1 - also my favorite convolution reverb.  For algorithmic reverbs, I like Valhalla Room, and the 2C Audio reverbs: Aether, Breeze, and their new B2 (highly recommended).

Try Valhalla Room and ArtsAcoustic Reverb, rich and creamy.
