There is no need to delete X1. Especially before installing X2. You will lose all your custom things you have done, if you do not save the folders.

As far as v-vocal being improved, i would get melodyne, if your serious about vocal tuning

Keep X1 installed. That way you can carry on using it until you are familiar with X2. Then still keep it some just incase you have issues opening old projects in X2.

I thought 64 bit rewire was one of the additions in one of the later X1 patches???

As far as I know (at the moment) V-Vocal is the same.

If you remove X1 after installing X2, you may need to reinstall some plug-ins because some are shared between versions. But otherwise, yes, X2 is a separate install.

Personally I use both melodyne and v-vocal - they are both good at different things.

FYI, there are a number of folks who are serious about vocal tuning who get excellent results with V-Vocal, just for the record.

That said, different tools for different folks. Try different products until you find one that works the way you like.

Could you elaborate? I haven't used Vvocal yet(new user) but have used Melodyne before.

Thanks

v-vocal is easier to use, but doesn't sound as good (natural) as Melodyne
