I am all for this upgrade. However, why is it 129.00 in the cake store and to upgrade on the overloud site it is 97.00? Is it because we have the pro channel portion?

The upgrade on the Overloud site is from BREVERB 1. Our upgrade is from BREVERB SONAR, which gives you an additional 3 algorithms.

If you compare the upgrades from start to finish: To get the Breverb from Overloud it cost $217 then the upgrade cost $97. So that's a total of $314...  "Breverb Sonar" comes included with Sonar X2 Producer and then you paid $129 for the up grade. I think you can see a little logic there...
"EDIT" - The price of Breverb "1" was $269 so, someone upgrading from Overload Breverb "1" would be paying a toltal of $366.

It's not lite at all. The big difference is that BREVERB 2 comes with three additional algorithms. A modern reverb model and post production model.

The 4 reverb algorithms in there are fully functional and really good. If you like the 4 you get, you can add the additional three as well.

Jimmy Landry just did a blog post about it here:
