Nice slow bluesy sound to this and the vocals are right on the money for this song. The guitar and bass sound great also on this and the bongos in the background fit right in to complete this song. Very nicely done AT.

Thanks all.  I was pleased how it turned out.  The bongos were fun to record - never done that here at home.

Nice song AT, the bass is cool. Would've liked to have heard more depth in the bongos as they give the song that cool flowingness that wouldn't have been there if they weren't (just a thought).

That's beautiful. I might give the bongos a little more room, but that's a nitpick, it all works together perfectly as it is.

This sounds great! The simple string line to one side is so simple, yet perfect for this. Great guitar and vocal work as well. Reminds me of the Joe Bonamassa/Beth Hart collab stuff (that's a good thing ;).

Dan

Nice, I could just imagine walking down the steps to some basement lounge bar all smoky, with a sense of expectation.

Nicely done all round.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments, all.  The bongos were a late addition - it started out as guitar/bass/vocal thing.  It was either leave the bongos in the back or start re-carving the other things.

Sounds very good. Everything is very clear. The percussion (bongos?) needs work (imo) in the mix.

Nice clean tones, with a laid back bluesy feel. My kind of song.
It had some slight timing issues along the way, but didn't stop me from listening.
I would say good job on this one.

Really nice and smooth.  I love the understatement and laid back feel.
