Heck, I know a guy who can get you a green card for a hundred bucks. But if you've got the 4 bills, you might as well go for the blue passport special. I've always thought it would be kinda cool to have a briefcase full of passports, so I could feel like James Bond, Jason Bourne or Austin Powers.

Can't anymore ... the new cards are supposed to be "fool" proof and they have the scanning ability on both sides of the card and the backside is almost as big as the whole card, a scanning incredible design ... I'll try to photo mine and post it ... done here in Portland ... and they are all $400 dollars these days.

Seems to me there was a concerted effort to  dumify the education system. To break down the family structure. If people were ignorentterer, uninformed, if there scope of existence was narrower intelligant discissions couldn't be made and there fore they could be programmed to do as directed either by commercials or TV news or scools, universitys, guys and gals in funny costumes, bosses, etc.
the coming election tells it all

Not on the cards ... the picture itself is encoded into the backside so only a special reader can pick it up ... and verify the user. it will make it tougher to cheat on a green card if the scanning tells you immediately the picture is not the same ... but if someone does not use that scanner, the whole process is wasted. All borders have that scanner for almost 4 or 5 years now.

I guess I'm in the small percentage of people who like common core math, it clicks with me. I have a second grader who excels with it and math has become his favorite subject. It teaches kids to do math in their heads and the theme is to create hundreds and tens (represented in early years as boxes for 100's, sticks for 10's and dots for ones). Eventually 50 + 48 will translate to 100 - 2 in your mind. The people that I've met that hate common core math don't take the time to understand it and don't like it because it's not the way they were taught.

I completely understand the concept of common core math(s). I just don't understand what Pedro is talking about, in relation to the thread he posts in. Ever.

I'm looking for a new car. This one looks like it would get some attention! Does it come in paisley?
I prefer uncommon core, no one understands it so I fit right in.
