Why does Sonar still crashes? Regardless, this is just unacceptable. And if you do and must crash, give a useful error message not some generic crap. So that the user have an idea what's causing the issue.

There are no plugins, when we record tapes or vinyl. Just audio.
We alwayse could solve the problem "Crash on Exit" by changing the audiointerface - or updating drivers from audiointerface - or updating USB-drivers - or changing the USB-Port.
I think there is anything wrong between SONAR and AudioInterface, so that SONAR cannot close the audiodriver by Exit.
In this case, where any of our laptops has problems on Exit, there were also sometimes little problems with the recorded material.

Just to keep it in the head as marker, is not putting it into the heart to do...and the doing part...well that said and done...if so not...get to it.....And it all fades away...In his word is a way...To be alive and well tended...His things are Given ....So, do not let them mislead you in the other way..Anti to his way....Is it given?....if sold, does it work?...if not working but says it does...but has issues....Must be a reason?....Solve...Yet when solved, it is turned to not working again by third hands doing a change of setup.....And wars wage on while trying to get this thing..(not living) working to do what?.....Are we blind to the world doing the ugly things to life?....or do we blind our selves to not see, yet hope it is keeping us out of troubles?...Yet so many are finding it starting to not be what we thought it was...A aid...has become a hinderance to doing anything proper, if one can...if it is working, it comes to not working.....And not solving...and no one can solve for...Because they ..whom ever they be, do not want solutions to the cash cow...no no no....and so, the word to Give, or is Given rights to tend and keep life.....As was given dominion to Human...Has become not so natured...But denatured..unnatural...and is now given up to the IDOL...sacrificing life on a very wide scale......Why?.
 
In the head, it will only rot your mind....Put it in your heart...and body to do what is righteous .....Did not Noah save Life?...or did he save death?....either way, only a boat was used to carry it on to this ...if so is so.
 
A human saved life to be, Given back onto as was Given....So as was, is, as is was...There is no other way.
 
 
And sow, the seeds of life back onto Life...what machine?....use your own hands!
 
 
Now that is putting it Proper....if you cannot do this simple thing for life...the whole world needs helpers...But the Earth need solutions to pollution and ill care.
 
Now, if you can solve for changing  variables of unknowns...constant change ups they put into it, as a machine...Do you think anyone can solve here?..if they did not put in the changes?....Ask ...who did do this?....MS OS and some others always needing updates.

So, what play is this?...Game?...Let us go hunting then!....It is principles ...ethics...moral code of the living being voilated...because of...something told not to make more important than His word and will or his own self....Flesh is used to make death..or be dead...or is dead?...Who is raising them back to learn who can raise them back to ...Being of something but not in total Truth as was made?.....yet they dance, and they sing, and they make movies...and are in the police, courts and institutions based on that IDOL put back into play...what does not mix...is mixing..into by some bent people...sodomites?...oh we know where they came from...But why are they here?....IDOL...be the cash cow....And if sacrificing upon it life....Good people as pawns.....What remains?

Or...Keep trying to solve this crap shoot...or walk way singing and playing music...any way you can..and sow some trees, and bushes, and bring life of life back to health with the Truth with you.....and no sin. means no death.,...do not listen to them....they are here solving unsolvable problems, because unsolvable Problems for them is money in the pocket...tech support plan b, and c and d...already in play by MS....go....look...pay...play the fool....lol

If SONAR was to tell you exactly what the cause was, would you even understand the message? When was the last time you looked at the Windows Event Log, much less ran a crash dump analysis? My guess is never, because it would mean nothing to you.
 
SONAR actually does give plenty of useful information, usually enough to troubleshoot most problems, or at least to identify the culprit. So the next time you experience a crash, tell CW about it and send them the crash dump. Sure, it's 2017 and we still don't have flying cars. But you're not going to get them by yelling what year it is.

Funny, you are a very cool guy and I respect you but never assume what someone may or may not know.
I am a Senior Software Developer, that's how I make my living, I work with some of the most critical systems you can imagine, where failure is the difference between collapse and success and our customers don't go around making excuses for us. In the end it makes us better knowing we are held to a standard.

And yes, it's 2017 the tools available now did not exists before and unless Sonar is developed using VB6 or Cobol, it shouldn't be that hard.

Again, you are making excuse for Cakewalk something that people do a lot around here.

And by the way, I do not used Consumer Windows OS. I run Sonar on Windows Server 2012 R2 64.
