I was thinking Sonar 8's TV FX bin went wider than that. If so, then, yes, X1 made it smaller. They should make it bigger again... but not in CV.

+1   tooltip idea

... and remove that big clunky on/off switch.

Or, how about a right-click on the blank portion of the FX bin adds a wide selectable drop down list of the contents to the existing context menu?

????

You can "left" click below the list and get a selectable drop down window.
The tooltip idea is there too, already. Unless I misunderstand (again).

Sorry, I meant selectable list of the "in use" FXs with wider tiles (the biggets complaint). This list of the "in use" FXs could be used  to "open up" an FX/VSTi similar to how you double click the the FX/VSTi in the FX bin.

This was a suggestion as an alternative to a wider FX bin (and possibly an easier programmatic solution to a wider FX bin).

Yeah, turns out the left clicky thing only applies to TV and not CV anyway.

Sorry!

I just found the tooltips you requested.

It's in Preferences - Customization - Display - Show Tooltips.

For maximum viewing pleasure, make sure there's a check mark in the box next to it.

You may now commence with mouse hovering.

option in act to move to marker a thru marker z. Create multiple sets of markers for projects that you can activate like automation lanes and make a preset. Option to offset the marker by several seconds or beats prior to the marker so you can listen to the music prior to your punch in point.

Can anyone honestly see any use for the Fx bin in X2 now that you can insert any VST you want into the Pro Channel?

Not all versions come with pro Channel right? Only producer? Perhaps I haven't been paying attention to x2 though.
