So, I just got X1 not too long ago. I'm sure the answer to my question is some where on this forum but I can't find it. The problem is this. When I upgraded seemingly ALL my old plug-ins (Microslav Philharmonic,Auto-Tune,Vsampler,ALL my native instruments, and so on and so forth) Don't load in the 32bit or the 64. Ive done the whole plug in manager thing and tried to reinstall same of the plug ins as well. X1 has some very beautiful plugins. But I'm kinka attached to the ones I had. Is there a way to use them on X1? If it helps, I am using a 64bit system. Win7

Using an old version of VSampler myself (along with other "oldies" Absynth v3, Arturia MoogModular V v2) and it works fine on Windows 7 64-bit with Sonar X1 64-bit.

The default install location for 32-bit programs and plugins is different than 64-bit programs and plugins, so I had to manually add the VSampler location to the VST scan path.

Once I did that, works great - 'bitbridge' works automatically and seamlessly behind the scenes with no issues.  :)

Load your 32 bit plugs somewhere in Programs Files (x86) and your 64 bit plugs in a Program Files location.  Then direct your scan to both locations, and you should be good to go.

thax guys. I got most of my instruments to work now :-) Rivers88 I'm GLAD you gave me details of your experience. Because I TOO use Vsamp. It's probably my MOST used plug. But it's also one of a few plug ins i couldn't get to work. I'll try your method in hopes it will work for me too :-)
