oh right like everyone said. Sorry I thought they were referencing the SONAR upgrade price.

well if the sound rivals revalver then I am definitely going to upgrade and get it. I too use podfarm and I need to upgrade that as well.

I d/l the demo also. All I got to test was the default amp it starts with.

Good clean sound. then I started messing with the Tone knobs. Nice!! Then I came accross the SLR knob and whoa!! That was sweet.

I also stuck the Comb Chorus on and I was in heaven! Then I stuck another Comb Chorus in the chain and WOW!! I loved it!

Like I said, I only tried the default amp. But I did play it for about and hour and a half!! And on that alone I almost pressed the purchase button. But I still want to check it out today and see if it's really what I think it is.

BTW, is there a difference in the demo I am playing and the X2 versions? From the posts I'm reading in this thread it seems that there are different versions. I am thinking it's like Guitar Rig in that what you get with Sonar is a lite version and you upgrade to the full version. Can someone clarify, is it the same deal as with Guitar Rig? Or do you get a "lesser" version (of the full version) with the X2 $99 version?

My understanding is you get a lite version which has the amps but not the stomp boxes with X2
But you can get the full version for (another) $99
I bought it and am glad I did, even though I have GR5
I'm not a guitar player so I don't know what to grab to get what sound, the presets in TH2 are great for me
