Couple of questions: 1. Is the only way to open Soft Synths via the Track View Input field? 2. After a certain point I am unable to open Dim Pro instances to change patches etc. If I close X1 and reopen, the instances I was trying to open all pop up automatically. Any ideas on that as obviously it's very frustrating. Thanks M

Well, keeps happening to me - Dim Pro dropping out. Then the only way to get it back is to create another instance and even then that one might drop out 2 minutes later. The other thing with X1 is the random track volume hikes... Are these bugs fixed in X2?

These are not bugs, and it's certainly not intended behaviour.

• Check you're running the latest version of Dim Pro - it should be version 1.5
• The best way (in my opinion) to open a synth is from Track View under Insert > Soft Synth. From there you can decide how many audio tracks is opened by the synth
• What version of Sonar are you patched to? X1c or X1d?
• "Random track volume hikes". You're going to have to provide a LOT more information

Try filtering out all NRPN MIDI messages from the MIDI stream that is feeding Dimension Pro.  It will behave unexpectedly when it encounters NRPN messages.
